The word fairy refers to a tiny being of light.
These light beings are the fairies who dwell within the gardens and woodlands and who are duty bound to help the plants to grow.
Hang your fairy house in a sunny location indoors, preferably near a window. The fairy house is fragile, and should be treated with care.
You will know when a fairy has taken residence by the smile upon your face whenever you come near. Many people say that the house will turn to face out of the window when a fairy comes to stay.
Fairies are private beings. Never, never poke a finger inside their homes or look inside. Fairies do not accept curiosity as an excuse for poor manners.
Each Fairy House is different. The house itself, made of Oak Leaves, is about 5 inches in diameter. The sticks can be up to 2 feet long. All four elements are represented in each Fairy House: Water by a shell, Fire by charcoal from a Summer Solstice fire, Air by feathers, and Earth by everything else. The colors will not fade in sunlight. Made primarily, but not totally, from Nature. After all, Fairies love a little bit of sparkle!
No two Fairy Houses are ever alike. The houses pictured here is a good sampling of what is available, but your house will be different. We dont think you will be disappointed every single one is enchanting.
