Until the sping of 2005, when Rockporters voted to allow alcohol in restaurants, Rockport was a dry town. There are still no liquor stores here, and no bars. But for the first time in 150 years (well, not quite. There was one year in the 1930’s when drinking was allowed in town) – for almost the first time in 150 years, some of our restaurants have full liquor licenses. You may now order a drink, a glass of wine or a beer with your meal.
