NEW MOON IN LEO

Saturday, July 30th, the Moon enters Leo at 2:16am here on the east coast. At 6:00am, the Moon and Venus will be conjunct in Leo, and even though it is early in the morning, it could very well be a good time for some sexy behavior enjoy your morning!

Throughout the day we are at the dark of the Moon, a time when we should be in the final stages of releasing that which no longer serves us. The only problem is that we occasionally forget this. With the somewhat active energy of a Leo Moon making a trine aspect to Uranus at 9:47am, we may feel we should be doing something, or anything. At the same time, we have Mercury moving at a crawl, and again, the energy of the darkest side of the Moon. I tell you this because of the need is to just let things be, no matter how you may feel, just let it be. If you try to push this stubborn Leo energy into doing something it/they does not want, you may find that it will only blow up in your face.

At 2:40pm, the Moon will be New in the sign of Leo. Ready! Set! Stop! Anyone with a strong Leo presence in their chart will have a heck of day, starting right now. As I said, we feel as if we can take on the world and, for some people, they will feel as if they are completely right, know exactly what should be happening and will tell everyone just how to do it. We all know people like this. Not all of them are Leos, but some are - so being aware will be helpful. For all you Leos out there, please take extra care to be kind and watch yourselves. You just may be too pushy today. Pay attention, as others could easily push back where they usually do not. We also have the New Moon making a square aspect to Jupiter, so we should be aware that with this energy we can become overly indulgent, or have a lack of our usual self control.

With this New Moon, we have Mercury about to go retrograde, causing our communications to slow down. The Moon this month wants fire, passion, and obedience on some level, but the rest of the universe is saying not this time around. We do need to plant our seeds with this New Moon, as we always do, but the fact is things could take a little extra time this month. It may take longer to focus on our goals, new ideas and new seeds - or it may take a little longer to manifest. Be patient, as you will find it all works out in the end.
