FULL MOON IN VIRGO

Saturday, February 27th is a very busy day! Mercury is in Aquarius and will conjunct Neptune and Chiron. The Moon will be in opposition to all these planets in by this afternoon. There is not much grounding us today as most of this energy is Water and Mutable. However, with Mercury in Aquarius our communications will be analytical and cutting edge but also have a spiritual flare to them. If we can tap into this energy any one of us can channel in new information that could be very useful and helpful in solving problems; personal or global. Neptune supplies spiritual inspiration and Chiron can help us to heal old wounds or at least give us the ability to identify them so we can make choices outside of that pain.

With the Moon in an opposition this afternoon to Neptune, Chiron and Mercury the obstacles that are holding us back are self-inflicted and tied directly to our egos. Spending some time this afternoon in a creative pursuit or finding some way of expressing yourself is the perfect solution. We can become aware of what our obstacles are when we get involved in creating something because there is no room for the extra worries when we create; answers come to those long asked questions. The Moon will go “Void of Course” from 3:15 p.m. to 7:52 p.m. giving you time to take a little rest here and relax a bit. When the Moon moves into Virgo for the next two and a half days we will have plenty of time to think things through. Take the time to enjoy yourself and have a relaxing Saturday night.

On Sunday, February 28th the Moon will be full during the daylight hours at 11:38 a.m. meaning last night the Moon would have looked full. If you enjoy the Full Moon rituals then wait until tonight to perform your ritual and work on your release when the Moon is once again waning. However, backing up a little and before this, the Moon will trine Pluto early in the morning on Sunday and it feels good. Any power issues you may have had yesterday or over the last few weeks with this aspect can put things into perspective for you in a nice, easy manner. The Sun will help out a bit today as well when it conjuncts Jupiter. The Sun does conjunct Jupiter only once a year, but the last time they were conjunct in Pisces was February 1998. Try to think back to that time and see if you can remember what in your life expanded. For example, in the scientific news from 1998 one of the bigger stories was about the universe with the following quote; “it is not only expanding, but that expansion appears to be speeding up. And as if that discovery alone weren’t strange enough, it implies that most of the energy in the cosmos is contained in empty space”. This was huge news in 1998 and now we may just see something similar to this happening once again. However, I feel this will be more earth bound information and will involve discoveries in our oceans, things beyond our wildest dreams. On a personal note though, we should all take a look at what may already be expanding in our lives, we should have a clue as most of us are connected very well with our higher selves. Take some time and see what is or will expand for you this year. We can find indications of this expansion if you know where this aspect is in your natal chart. If you are having some difficulties figuring out what you want to expand, use the energy just after the Full Moon to release these blocks. Write them out on paper and burn them if you need something to do. We do need to identify our blocks and if you find that writing things out is not working for you than start doing a mantra or a chant that will release these blocks. (If you would like specific instructions on how to do this please email me and I will send the chant I used that worked very well for me). Another method that is helpful is that every time you feel a block or obstacle you could also try saying “I am a Clear Channel for Love & Light”. The less we focus on “I am blocked” and the more we focus on “being open” the better we will be. It is a perfect time to open these channels anyway with all this Piscean energy. So have a wonderful Full Moon ritual, release your blocks and open a new channel to spirit in whatever way suits your beliefs.
