On Friday, May 9th, Mars enters the sign of Leo, and on Saturday, May 10th, the Moon conjuncts Mars. This can make Saturday a day of high drama with lots to do. Leo energy needs attention, so sitting around today is not on the agenda.
Since the Moon is still in Leo on Sunday the 11th (Mother's Day), the best way to use this energy is to really pay attention to your Mother. Treat her like you have never done before. This Leo Moon will bring out her need for attention.

If you can't plan to be with your mother Saturday, then Sunday you could have a lazy day together: talking, eating, and enjoying each other's company. Venus and the Moon are not cooperative for part of Sunday - so hopefully you have done your planning on time. If your Mother is no longer with us, then light a candle for her today, or plant a tree or flowers in her honor, celebrate her life. Her Spirit will be pleased. Then have a nice quiet day reflecting on her love.

On Monday, May 12th, there is quite a bit of conflict going on regarding what we know as truth. The Moon and Saturn are conjunct today, so our emotions may be a little more hardened than usual. We are looking for stability, but also feel this nagging need for change. Talk about a mixed bag! I think one of the best ways to handle these aspects is to write down what we think should change and what we think should stay the same...kind of like a pro/con list. After you write it, put it away until tomorrow. On May 13th, we will have a much better chance of seeing things in a more balanced light, and will be better able to sort out the details of our situations.

On Wednesday, May 14th, the Moon is still in Virgo. This is a good day to get a lot done, and to handle all those little details we put off for a rainy day and never got to.

On Thursday and Friday, the Moon is in Libra. Socializing is a wonderful way to use this energy. You may not accomplish much work during this time period, but you can have fun...perhaps even network while having fun.

On Friday and Saturday we have a number of odd aspects that most people do not look at. These aspects tell me we have some healing to do on Friday and Saturday. The details of this will depend on your chart, but if you are aware, you will know what you are working on. Generally, wounds can be healed this weekend through hard work and community service. I can see this healing energy would work best through an event where people gather for Spiritual support, growth, and knowledge. If you have nothing planned like this for the weekend of the 17th, then start now and see what you can come up with. It will be well worth your effort, if you are open to healing.
