Most of us have believed that Moldavites fell to earth as meteorites - the only gem quality meteorite ever to be found. But, in fact, it is a product of the fusion of a meteorite with the earth. No less interesting! Moldavite is one of the rarest materials on earth.
Do not cleanse Moldavite with salt. The stone is soft, and the salt will harm it.
