Our friend The Stone Lady, Terry Milton, says the following about this particular Herkimer Diamond: This Herkimer appears to be stained on internal levels with a yellowish-gold inclusion. The coloration is a result of iron oxide, or rust that seeped in eons ago. This stone will connect with people who have felt as though they have been inactive for too long, or are feeling a little rusty. It would be a helpful gem for those who are ready to work through old issues, particularly those involving shame or embarrassment. The awakening power of this stone would be well suited for someone with a desire to change but a resistance to taking the first steps. It is a great stone for someone needing to focus on the here and now.
