Hello

Rockport has come back to life, and we are happy to have it that way. Hope you can join us here. We are still cooler than most years, but we have had some beautiful weather. People are back! And although we are working hard, life is light and fun. As you will see in Rockport Through the Seasons, we are blessed with an ocean for a back yard. Each spring brings with it renewed activity, and some of the loveliest sunsets on the East Coast. Funny, no matter how long I live here, I never tire of Cape Ann’s beauty. But even though Rockport and Cape Ann are always beautiful, that beauty is ever-changing.

Gera's Musings

If I say “It is not so much what we do in this world that matters, it’s what we allow to happen”, will you think I am talking about bad things that we have allowed to happen and are guilty of, by the sin of omission? That’s what I would think if someone said that to me.

But turn it around.

Suppose it means it is not so much the good things that we decide to do, and go forward with, as it is the good we allow to come through us. When we do not block the brilliance of our creative spirit, we allow remarkable – even impossible - things to happen.

The first point of view is valid. The second is great.

And “allow” is the key.

I Forgot To Sell Things

Now you know I am enjoying putting out this newsletter. We have a lot of motives for creating Supernova – ranging from sharing our pictures of Rockport with you to discovering a place to philosophize a bit. But in our last issue, I forgot one of the main purposes – which is to sell you some of our beautiful things. So please check out the Violet Flame Lead Crystal Suncatcher below. It is indeed a breathtaking piece.

Violet Flame

Violet Flame We have a beautiful lead crystal suncatcher for you to check out. I took over 60 pictures trying to show you the light in this piece. But beautiful lead crystal, like beautiful crystals created in the Earth, are very difficult to photograph. I can never quite capture the essence.

This piece is from Antelope and Willow, based on the West Coast. The crystals are Swarovski – from Austria - and the entire piece comes to us by way of Australia. We are in Rockport, Massachusetts. Of course, the final leg of the journey depends on your location. The Violet Flame is no longer available.

Rock Your World

We have introduced you before to Bill Adams and Earth Echoes Crystals. This month, The Stone Lady has a very special treat for you. She did readings on 3 of Bill’s Fantasy Quartz Crystals. These 3 pieces came out of a pit in Datas Township, in Brazil, and were “mined” by the local people from the tiny village of Paulista (population: 6 houses). How did the men know where to dig? They didn’t. But a woman of the village did. She told them simply to “dig where the light comes out of the ground”.

Fantasy Landscape Quartz Terry spent an incredible 18 hours with the largest piece, the Fantasy Landscape Quartz. I have often seen Terry enraptured by a stone - she loves them all! But rarely have I seen her react as she reacted to this one. She was totally enthralled. As well she might be. This is an exceptional piece. A collector’s item.

As for the 2 smaller pieces, we call them the “Mesa” crystals – because Bill chose them from the selection on the kitchen table (mesa means table). We also call them Twin Crystals, because they were at one time attached.

So, without further ado, we hand you over to The Stone Lady for this special issue of her column, Rock Your World.

Jami Lin's Feng Shui Energy Forecast

Jami's forecast for July is interesting. A couple of notes for those with their front doors in the South and North. If your front door faces South, use wood to stabilize. And if your door faces North, use water to enhance your creativity. There is a misprint for those with doors facing East: "quite" means "quiet"; add quiet metal (not chimes). July sounds like a lively month. Handled wisely, it will be a lot of fun: Feng Shui Energy Forecast for July.

Rockport Through the Seasons

This month’s Rockport Through the Seasons is made up of shots taken right here at Philosophia. If you have seen Old Harbor from our back window, you will recognize the scenery. Either way, I’m sure you will enjoy the pictures: Rockport Through the Seasons.

Your comments on our newsletter, Supernova, are always welcome. Send them to info@darkstaronline.com.

This concludes the 5th issue of Supernova. Thanks for listening. Namaste.
