The pictures of the Reindeer At Bearskin Neck Leathers (right across the street from us) and of the Hayride with the Belgian Horses speak for themselves. But the picture of the woman with the crown on her head needs a bit of explanation. She and her friends have an annual event. They really don't see each other much during the year, so they get together and come to Rockport during the Winter Holidays. They wear crowns on their heads to celebrate their coming together. We know of several groups of people who come to Rockport for their annual gatherings, but this is the first group I know of that comes during the Holidays. And it's certainly the first group I know of with crowned heads! How festive, and how very suitable for a town like Rockport - rich in Scandinavian ancestry.
