These pictures of Old Harbor, Dark Star Philosophia's back yard, were taken on 2 different days in January. We had more ice floes this year than in any year I can remember. One shot was taken at high tide on the warmer of the 2 days - you can see the ice floating around on the water. The other picture was taken at low tide, on a very cold day. The separate pieces of ice make an almost
solid cover on the beach.
