Selenite
This month, darkstaronline.com is proud to feature the beautiful and powerful stone known as Selenite, a delicate gem found on all seven continents as well as on every star, every moon, every planet, and every solar system throughout the universe.

It comes in many different forms. In Australia, Selenite is a luscious mint-green colored fragile gem. In parts of Africa Selenite often takes the form of a "Desert Rose," and resembles a sand-colored blossom of a beautiful rose, minus the thorns.
In the United States, our Selenite is often known as "gypsum" and is can be white, gray, or clear in appearance. Industry has found many uses for Selenite, including the construction of windows for spacecrafts and plasterboards that are used to build walls.
Because of its universal nature, those who are drawn to Selenite often find themselves pulling information that comes from elsewhere. You can recognize some "Selenite people" by a common phrase that is a variation of, "I don't know how I know this, but I swear it's the truth!"
Although Selenite is a stone used to build walls, Selenite people usually find themselves in the position of trying to break down walls that should never have been erected in the first place. Today's Selenite people would be much like the freedom riders of the early 1960s. Those drawn to Selenite have the courage of their convictions, and are the champions of the underdog. They are firm believers in practicing what they preach, but are often forced to make unpopular decisions.
It is easy for people to say, "if this ever happens, I'll do such and such …" but when they are faced with the reality of the situation they had imagined, they are suddenly saying, "oh, but what I meant was …" People who are drawn to Selenite value the truth, and have been tested many times to prove to themselves that they indeed do have the courage of their convictions. You have heard the expression, "If these walls could talk …" A Selenite person is like a wall, in that he or she hears almost everything, yet can keep a secret, and will take a secret to their grave rather than betray a confidence.
Selenite is also a stone of wonder. Legend has it that the wizards could record their memories into blades of Selenite, although I would strongly suggest that the wizards of today have a "back up copy" of their memories in either a computer or journal!
Selenite is also a stone of transition, and many people who are drawn to Selenite find themselves in the midst of major transitions, and/or working very closely with others who are undergoing significant changes. Physically, Selenite is very fragile, but on a metaphysical level, Selenite is a true stone of power and one of the five most important stones of this era.
