"Iron Jacket" Star Seed Crystals
In Issue #13 of last year's DarkStarOnline.com newsletter, Supernova, we featured a new discovery known as "Star Seed" crystals, gently mined in Brazil by our friend, Bill Adams of Earth Echoes Crystals. The Star Seeds generated a lot of interest, due to their uniqueness, as well as for their potential in healing. In this issue we are featuring a "close relative" of the "Star Seeds," nicknamed, "Iron Jackets."

"Iron Jackets" are from a vein near the site where the Star Seed crystals were first unearthed in Brazil. At first glance, some of the crystals appear to be slightly cloudy, with a dark coating of iron, seemingly insulating much of the star seed quartz. On closer inspection the crystals with the "Iron Jackets" give the illusion of many tiny twinkling stars.

Over the course of several mini-meditations with the "Iron Jackets," I began to realize that these unique crystals have much of the power and intensity associated with the Star Seeds themselves, coupled with a deep bonding and connection with Planet Earth. They are useful in helping to increase one’s awareness of areas that need work, as well as helping one who is determined to take action on their new insights.
The "Iron Jackets" have a protective energy, and appear to have a gift of being able to resonate with one’s physical needs. There were times that I held an "Iron Jacket" in the palm of my hand, closed my eyes, and almost immediately fell fast asleep. Other times, the same stone in the palm of my hand seemed revitalizing and rejuvenating.

On another occasion, holding the "Iron Jacket" seemed to send my mind to a heightened awareness of the importance of dualities. Just as one must know pain in order to experience pleasure, or be acquainted with frustration in order to understand satisfaction, the "Iron Jackets" seemed to facilitate a subtle but silent communication about both opposites and polarities. This communication about opposites and polarities comes out of their own structural opposites - the "outer space" of the Star Seed itself, and the intense grounding of the iron jacket.

As previously mentioned, the "Iron Jackets" are newly unearthed, and little has been written about them thus far. We are still opening up to all the power they hold and the wisdom contained in each crystal. Please feel free to write us and share some of your own experiences with "Iron Jackets!"
