"A unique translation of the traditional Tarot Deck that returns the Tarot to its roots while incorporating numerology and the archetypal mythology. Presented with dramatic and impactful images combining the ancient and modern traditions."
-- from the deck of "Merryday Tarot"
"Louisa Poole "sees" the little people of our magical earth, and has painted many of them for this miraculous deck. Quite truly the "keeper of the land" here on Cape Ann more specifically, in Rockport (Dark Star Philosophias home) her knowledge of Earth Magic has translated into the art and images of the only Tarot deck that has ever "talked" to me. With a sound base in numerology and the cycles of nature, the Merryday Tarot is cheerful and playful which is really the best way to explore the serious side of life.
Merryday Tarot is no longer easy to come by. We are fortunate to be able to offer it here."

"Louisa Pooles Merryday Tarot deck is now difficult to find. Her book is even more rare. She was reticent to write a book to go with her deck her feeling being that the cards and the readings must be self-explanatory. (And indeed, I have found this to be so with her deck amateur card reader that I am). Writing an accompanying book did not appeal to Louisa because she knew it would be no simple matter. This book is far more than a Tarot card guidebook it is the culmination of a lifetime of philosophy.
Most unique is the section called Invisible Kingdom. It is filled with poetry, legend, and even breathing techniques to help you "get there". As Louisa says in this section:
The Invisible Kingdom, considered one of the "otherworlds," is much like the time between times or the spaces between solids. There are many "otherworlds," such as the dream world, the angelic realm, the astral plane, etc. Our "otherworld" is the kingdom of nature "Faerie Land" or perhaps, as Tolkien would say, "Hobbit Land" or "Land of the Mists." ...
If you have been wondering why the Merryday Tarot Deck is filled with "ancient ones", now you know. Perhaps this will give you a key to their identity. To this author, nothing is as wondrous and enchanting as the Invisible Kingdom in nature and the "breath of magic" we feel from the "otherworlds."
